Trashcan Greetings...

Over the years, people have often asked about the origin of the Trashcan concept. It all started back around 1990 when I was still drawing greeting cards by hand. On a Saturday afternoon, as I was putting the finishing touches on a card for a friend, I had a little extra free time so I started doodling on the back of the card...

The actual name, Trashcan Greetings, was invented when it occurred to me that my cards, just like everybody else's, would eventually end up in the trash.
